A classic Chinese cheongsam (qipao) wedding dress in ivory pure silk brocade, with a mandarin collar, cap sleeves and a close-fitting cut – shown on our bride with her groom in a matching Chinese-style jacket, and in the tea-length version on our model.
The silk brocade is woven with a tone-on-tone pattern that shimmers softly as the light moves across it. The high mandarin collar is finished with a delicate embroidered detail at the front, and small knot buttons run along the side opening in the traditional way. Short cap sleeves keep the look light and elegant, and the dress is cut close to the body, as a true cheongsam should be. A beautiful choice for a Chinese tea ceremony, a register office or civil ceremony, a second wedding, or a couple who want to honour their heritage.
Fabric: Pure silk brocade (真丝织锦缎), fully lined.
